Need To Move Fast? Get The Right Self Cert Finance
If you need to move fast you need to be able to count on the right mortgage advice, with no stalling – be sure you talk to a self cert specialist if you want to move onwards and upwards without any hassle.
It's a common enough occurrence, in fact almost 100,000 people moved home in the last two years just to get away from their nasty neighbours, according to new research by Abbey Mortgages.
But then, Council of Mortgage Lender figures show that some 680,000 homeowners upped sticks and moved in the last two years overall. Abbey found that the most common reasons being the desire to get higher up the housing ladder and the need for more room.
But then not everyone could cite such positive reasons for moving. Indeed over 40,800 people were motivated to move in order to get into their preferred school's catchment area. Redundancy and financial difficulties pushed 6800 into selling up and moving to a cheaper abode.
Nici Audhlam-Gardiner, director of Abbey Mortgages, says: "People are still moving for positive reasons such as the desire to move up the property ladder or as a result of their dream home coming on to the market. We have seen a fifty per cent increase in the number of people applying for mortgages to buy a new home in recent months compared to the average monthly applications for purchase mortgages for the first half of the year."
If you need to move, you need a good mortgage. But those who cannot prove their income may find it difficult to get hold of a loan in a timely manner – risky borrowers could be stalled for months thanks to being turned down again and again for a loan.
So if you need to get moving, fast, you need a mortgage adviser who will find you a deal without hassle. And for self cert clients, that particular adviser always has to be a self cert specialist who knows the industry, knows what borrowers want and knows how to get it.
